The PopUp Donation is a donation abri that brings a playful element to donating to charities, without having to choose which charity to contribute to. The abri is customized with a coin cascade system, coin dropping and repeat mechanism, coin detector and amount counter, Led lighting, and a green LED display board.

Contactless donation device

The donation abri has a coin dropping mechanism that gets activated with a contactless Donation device. After donating with your card or phone, the coin will go through the Coin Cascade system and randomly fall into one of the 3 slots. The 3 slots feature the branding of individual charities or 3 goals of one charity.. After the coin drops in, a slot a ring around it will light up and the digital text ”thank you” will appear.. Underneath the slot, a mechanism will move the coin back up to repeat the Coin dropping mechanism’s actions. The number of coins that enter a slot will be counted by the sensors. The donation amount is programable with a default amount of 5 euros, but this can be reprogramed with a higher amount. With this donation box sticker around the Contactless Donation device, the amount will be announced to the donor.
